Frequently asked questions
As a registered user of a commercial version of a Unitek product, you can benefit from a customized technical support for problems due to installation and product defaults, including failures and errors caused by the software.
• I tried to install the "Commander pro/" monitoring software, but I could not find the serial number: :
The serial number is: 511C1-01220-0100-478DF2A
You will find this serial number in your user's manual under the chapter "installation and operation" (p.12, chap 3-8)
• When I press the ON/OFF button, I hear a beep but my UPS does not start:
Your UPS is equipped with system to avoid unwanted switching on or off. Press the ON/OFF button for at least 10 secondes to switch it ON. When the alarm stops your UPS is ready for use.
• When I switch off the outlet of my Sigma 8 FTM surge protector, the connected devices don’t switch off :
It means your computer UC uses more than 30 Watts even when off. We advise you to plug your screen on the master socket of your Sigma 8 FTM surge protector (you must deactivate first the awake mode of your screen).
